It's Official! Announcing the Archon - Nexus Sponsorship!
Now that it is 2025 and we have some big and exciting news! We are proud to announce our official sponsorship with Nexus Waco!
What is Nexus Waco?
If you are not familiar with Nexus Waco, it is a gaming community and hangout spot located in Waco TX that features a dedicated Trading Card Game Store, a full restaurant, and an esports area. They host leagues, tournaments, birthday parties, and offer tabletop play, memberships, day passes, and private gaming rooms.

To start the new year off, Archon is proud to be the full esports sponsor of Nexus and is taking over the day to day of the esports division.
What will be different?
The esports division will now be called the "Archon Esports Center" in honor of the sponsorship, and Archon will supply all of the equipment used for esports and video games inside Nexus on top of handling the day to day operations. Memberships will remain at $29.99/month and updated membership software has been implemented which gives members scanner fobs. These will be used to handle members payments and daily scan-ins.
An Archon retail store will be located inside Nexus where customers can purchase "Esports ready" PCs immediately in store. Besides PCs, other accessories such as esports chairs, monitors, mice, keyboards, and headsets will all be available for purchase that are optimal for esports use ranging from beginner to professional.
Overall, the day to day at Nexus should remain mostly the same, but major growth plans are taking place in the esports department including more PCs available on the gaming floor, updated equipment, and an updated fiber network.
Archon Sponsored Events
Archon has already started things off great with a Marvel Rival's league featuring over 20 PCs playing Marvel Rivals simultaneously each Saturday night. They are currently taking sign-ups for season 2 here: https://nexuswaco.com/social-leagues/
These leagues are partnering with the Waco Sports Social Leagues to add the first esports league to it's local sports line-up! Season 2 will have over 50 players and will keep growing. Expect multiple Marvel Rivals league season's over the course of 2025 for Nexus coming up.
What to expect
Archon is branching out to make sales online via it's new website and through Amazon. There will be a dedicated office inside Nexus Waco to allow custom builds and PC upgrade consultations. A dedicated shipping area has been built out to handle the online demand, and the retail store will be featured in full display inside of Nexus with inventory available and on display! The same PCs will be available on the esports floor if any customer wants to try them out before they buy them!
